Suffragette Madonna: Crop of 1910
Dublin Core
Title
Suffragette Madonna: Crop of 1910
Description
[Image: Under the title "Suffragette Madonna," a man dressed in business attire is holding a blond baby doll and holding a bottle to the doll's mouth. He is standing in what appears to be a dining room with a gold charger sitting on the plate ledge in such a way that it appears to be a golden halo. On either side of the charger/plate are decorative ceramics. The image immediately brings to mind religious art and iconography of the Madonna/Virgin Mary. The image is captioned with Crop of 1910.] Print. Cream cardstock. 9x14 cm.
