We extend a warm welcome to our 2016-2017 RAs from the University of South Florida!

Seth Spencer is an M.A. candidate at the University of South Florida. His research is based on transatlantic literature and examines the way eighteenth- and nineteenth-century women writers subvert patriarchal and colonial power structures in their works.

Natalie Bohin is a senior at the University of South Florida majoring in Literary Studies and minoring in Dance. Her literary interests include the correlations between Romantic and Modern literature such as cultural appropriation, the uncanny, and solace in nature.

Lea Minniear is a senior at the University of South Florida where she studies English Literature. In addition to reading literature by women of color, she enjoys canoeing, hiking, and playing with her children.

Michele True is pursuing an undergraduate degree in English with a focus on Creative Writing, as well as a minor in Italian. In her life, she is passionate about humanism, literature, education, motherhood, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Recently she’s added digital technologies to her growing list of interests.
