The Suffrage Postcard Project is a team initiative between Dr. Kristin Allukian and Dr. Ana Stevenson, working together with undergraduate and graduate research assistants.

Kristin Allukian, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of South Florida. Her primary research area is nineteenth-century American women’s literature. In 2013, she received a New England Regional Fellowship Consortium grant from the Massachusetts Historical Society. Her research and teaching interests include American literature before 1900; women’s literature; archive studies; gender, sexuality, and feminist theory; and digital humanities.

Ana Stevenson, Ph.D. is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the International Studies Group at the University of the Free State, South Africa. In 2012, she received a New England Regional Fellowship Consortium grant from the Massachusetts Historical Society. Her research interests include women’s history; transnational women’s suffrage; and the development of feminist rhetoric in social movements. Her teaching speciality is United States history.
