2015-2016 Research Assistants

We extend a warm welcome to our 2015-2016 RAs from Georgia Tech!

Welcome to our two undergraduate research assistants who are funded by the Georgia Institute of Technology’s highly competitive Presidential Undergraduate Research Award (PURA). PURA, an initiative conducted by the Office of the President at the Georgia Institute of Technology, provides grants to support the primary research of undergraduate students under a faculty mentor.

Lindsay Knapp is a freshman from Germantown, MD, studying Computational Media in the College of Computing and Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

In addition to our PURA research assistants, Ally Adams and Sobia Bhatti, two Georgia Tech undergraduate students, have undertaken independent studies. Both of their independent studies have contributed to the expansion of the Project and have used data from the Project to conduct primary research on the early twentieth-century woman's rights movement. You can find Ally's reflections on her contribution under our "Blog" tab.

If you are an USF undergraduate interested in working on the SPP,
please contact Dr. Kristin Allukian in the Department of English.
